आर्बको घारी
बैदामको बारी
तीनताका पोखरा उपत्यकाको चर्चित तीनठाँउ मध्येमा पर्छ माझठाना। त्यो गाउँ पुग्न बेगनासतालमाथि …रोयलट्रेक'हुँदै जानु पर्छ। माझठानाबाट ओरालो झरेपछि भगवतीटार पुगिन्छ। बाटो कतै पिच छ त कतै गेग्रिनयुक्त।नडराई चलाउनुस, भित्र पिच नै छ' पर्यटन व्यवसायी राम सुवेदीले गुरुजीसँग ठट्टा गरे।

हामी भगवतीटार हुदैँ मादी किनारको सानो बस्ति घुम्ले बजारमा पुग्यौं। त्यहाँबाट सुरु भयो पैदल यात्रा। मादीकोसुसेली सुन्दै उकालो लाग्यौ। भाचोक पुग्ने योजना। भारी बोकेका खच्चड ओरालो झर्दै थिए। …खोलामा माछाकोकमी छ' संगै रहेका लमतरी पर्यटन प्रर्बद्धन समितिका सचिव जसबहादुर गुरुङले भने …सबै करेन्ट लगाएरमारिसके।' माछाको कुरा सुनेर रसाएका हाम्रा जिब्रा सुख्खा हुन थाले। उनले एउटा ठुलो ढुंगा देखाए। त्यसमालेखिएको थियो …वार्निङ, नो इन्ट्री फर फिसिङ उइथ करेन्ट।'

झम्के साँझमा डोजर लगाएका र नाग झै बटारिएका पुरानो सडक हिँड्दा अलमलियौं हामी। कहिले खेतका कान्लाचढ्नुपर्थ्यो त कहिले झर्नुपर्थ्यो। जुनको उज्यालोमा पुग्यौं भाचोक।

ल्होछारको रमझममा मस्त थियो गुरुङ बस्ति। कास्कीको लमतरी गाउँ। गाउँलाई पर्यटकीय गन्तब्य बनाउनकस्सिएका पर्यटन व्यवसायी राम सुवेदी। उनैको बलमा पर्यटन बोर्डबाट अनुसन्धानमा आएका थिए, सदस्यकाशीराज भण्डारी र अनुसन्धान अधकृत खड्कविक्रम शाह।
भाचोक

मिजुरे, सैमरङ र भाचोक यी तीन गाविसका युवा गाँउमा पर्यटक भित्रयाउन तम्सिएका छन। समुन्द्री सतहबाटकरिव १५०० मिटर उचाँइमा रहेको भाचोक।

सामान्य यात्राका लागि काठमांडौबाट बस चढेर पोखरा जाने। रानीपौवा बसपार्कबाट बिहान सात बजेदेखि बसचल्छन्। लेखनाथ, माझठाना भगवतीटार हुदै घुम्ले पुगेपछि बसको यात्रा सकिन्छ। त्यसपछि उकालो चढ्दैभाचोक पुग्न सकिन्छ।

यात्राको पहिलो दिनमै यहाँ पुग्न सकिन्छ। काली मन्दिर र पुख्यौली मन्दिर यहाँको आकर्षण। …पानी नपरेमागुर्हाने ठाँउ भनेको यही हो' सेवामिलन निमाविका शिक्षक रामबहादुर गुरुङले भने …यहाँ भोग दिने चलन छैन।' पानी नपरेमा आलो माछा र धेरै परेमा सुकेको माछाले पुजा गर्ने चलन भने रहेको उनले बताए।

भाचोकका युवा र आमा समुह उत्साहित छन्। संग्रहलय पनि बन्दैछ पुराना वस्तु जोगाउन। गुरुङ समुदायलेटाढाका याङजाकोट र घलेगाउँबाट गाउँ पर्यटनबारे केही सिकिसकेका छन।

लाहुरे जीवन विताएर फर्केका क्याप्टेन मानबहादुर गुरुङ, ६३ पर्यटन समितिका अध्यक्ष भएका छन। मौरीपाल्ोका बुढा बा कफी खेतीमा पनि रमाएका छन्। उनलाई साथ दिएकी छन् श्रीमति डिलसुब्बाले। …पाहुनालाईअर्गानिक कफी खुवाउँनेछौं', उनले भनिन्।
घरघरमा चिया र कफीको विरुवा बढ्न थालेपछि चियाको लागि पसल धाउनु नपरेको उनीहरू बताउछन।

लमतरी
दोस्रो दिन बिहानै उकालो लागे पुगिन्छ लमतरी। यहाँबाट बाक्लो जंगल, सुर्योदयका साथै अन्नपुर्ण, माछापुच्छ्रे, मनास्लु र गणेश हिमाल अवलोकन गर्न सकिन्छ।

समुन्द्री सतहदेखि करिब २१०० मिटर उचाँईको थुम्कोमा भ्यु टावर बनाउन जोसिएका छन स्थानीय। पोखराबाटनजिक रहेको यो क्षेत्र पदयात्राका लागि उपयुक्त देखिएको पर्यटन व्यवसायी राम सुवेदीले बताउछन। भाचोकबाटएक घण्टा उकालो लागेपछि मदाले ढुंगामा पुगिन्छ। जुन ढुंगा मादल झै बज्छ।

यहाँबाट करिब एकघण्टाको ठाडे उकालो सकाएपछि लमतरीको थुम्कोमा पुगिन्छ। त्यहाँसम्म पुग्दा चराकाचिरविर पनि सुन्न सकिन्छ। पिउराको आवाजले जो कोहीलाई मोहित पार्नेछ। बनकुखुरा, मुनाल, डाँफे पनि हेर्नपाउनेछन। लमतरीदेवीको दर्शन पछि आफुले सोचेको कुरा पुरा हुने स्थानीय बताउछन। …म भर्तीमा जाँदा यहीभाकल गरेको थिएँ,' आसाम राइफलमा २१ बर्ष सेवा गरेका बलप्रसाद थापाले भने …सबैका माग पुरा गर्छिनदेवीले।'


देवीको ध्यानमा बसेका सेते अधिकारीले केही समय अघि छाडेपछि मन्दिरको अवस्था पनि बिग्रदै गएका रहेछ।टाढा भएको भनी गाँउलेले देवीलाई नै गाँउ नजिकको मन्दिरमा स्थान्तरन गरेछन।

बाइसी चौबिसे राज्यको समयमा यहाँ पनि गुरुङ जातिको राजा रहेका स्थानीयको भनाई छ।े …यो म्रुदी (राजाकोदरवार) र ङर्दी (तोपखाना)' भाग्नवाशेस देखाउदै मित्र गुरुङले भने। पुराना ओखल पनि ठाँउठाँउमा भेटिएका छन।केही बर्ष पहिलेे बढेको रुखले जाँतोलाई नै माथि लगपछि यो रुख संरक्षणको लागि पोखरा लगिएको स्थानीयबताउछन।

सिजनमा गाउँको पाखामा देखिन्छन् भिर मौरीका चाका। लमतरी ऐतिहासिक थलो हो। …ऐतिहासिक स्थललमतरीलाई उत्खनन गर्नु एक जिम्मेवारी हुनेछ' लमतरी पर्यटन प्रवर्द्धन समितीका सचिव जसबहादुर गुरुङले भनेयसमा पुरतत्व विभागको सहयोगको अपेक्षा गरेको छु।'


…पहिले हामी यही गोठ बनाएर बस्थ्यौ' टेउबहादुर थापा, ७० ले भने … १७ गोठ गाईभैसी र भेडाँ थिए।' सबै जनाविदेसिएकाले उनी पनि दिल्लीसम्म पुगेर फर्केका रहेछन। आफु गोठलो बसेको ठाँउ जंगलमा परिणत भएकोमाउनी दंग छन। थुम्को यस्तो महत्व भएकोमा उनी खुसी देखिए। …अहिले जस्तो कहाँ हुन्थ्यो र' उनले विगतलाईसम्झदै भने …पुवाको भंग्रा लाउथ्यौ।'


अति रमणीय यस थुम्कोमा रतुवा, चित्तल, घोरल, मृग जस्ता जनवार पाइन्छ। …भालु भेट्न भए गोफ्ला पाकेकोबेला आउनु,' स्थानीय छवि गुरुङले भने …मंिसरमा पाक्छ यो।' केरा जस्तै मिठो हुने यो फल ग्याष्टिककारोगीलाई प्रयोग गर्ने उनको भनाई छ।

चन्दनका रुख, विभिन्न जडीबुडीका लागि पनि नामी छ यो जंगल। दुई घण्टाको समय यहाँ बिताएपछि वारचोकमाझर्नुपर्ने हुन्छ। दुई घण्टा ओरालो झरेपछि कालीढुंगामा आइपुग्छ। जहाँ ढुंगाका दुई शंख छन। …सबैले बजाउछनआजभोलि ' रुद्र विकले भने …पहिले त यो बजाए असिना पानी बर्सन्छ भन्छन।' अहिले भने यो विश्वास हराउदैगएको उनले बताए। यसैको छेउमा गुफा छ। …अहिले सम्म कोही पसेका छैनन' उनले भने …संरक्षणको अभावमायो लोप हुने अवस्थामा छ।'

…यहाँको अकर्षण नै लमतरीबाट देखिने लोभलाग्दो दृश्य हो' पर्यटन व्यवसायी, सुवेदीले भने …यहाँबाट अन्नपुर्णलगायतका हिमालय रेन्ज सजिलै हेर्न सकिन्छ। पोखरा सहर पनि मजाले देखिन्छ।'। सरकारको योजना पनिनयाँ पदयात्राको खोजी भएकोले यहाँ प्रसस्त सम्भावना भएको उनले बताए। सरकारले नयाँ गन्तव्य खोजिरहेकोबेला सबैले चासो दिएको देखिन्छ। ग्रामीण पर्यटनलाई सबैले उत्साहित बनाउने पर्यटन बोर्डका अनुसन्धानअधिकृत शाहले बताए। …स्थानीयाले व्यवसायीलाई उत्साहित बनाउनुपर्छ,' नेपाल पर्यटन बोर्डका सदस्यभण्डारीले भने …बोर्डले सक्दो सहयोग गर्नेछ।'

वारचोक

…केमोजोगो ङाला नासै घुमदीवरी खोमिन(तपाइहरू हाम्रो गाँउमा घुम्न आउनुस)' वारचोक आमा समुहकी अध्यक्षपारु गुरुङले भनिन …हामी सँगै गाउला, नाचौला।'

राति वारचोकमा आमा समुहको नाचगान हेर्न सकिन्छ। तपाँइ आफै पनि नाच्न सक्नुहुनेछ। यात्रामा हुनेथकानलाई यसले केही हदसम्म हटाइदिन सक्छ।

Newly Discovered Tourist Destination “Bhachok”

You haven’t seen much in Nepal, if you haven’t visited one of the remarkable villages of Nepal “Bhachok.” Recently, a tourist destination route has been discovered to DhudhPokhari from Bhachok which will be very fruitful for tourism development.




How you can get there:

It takes about 2 hrs in bus from Pokhara to Ghumle Bazar. Then, after a continuous walk of about 2 hrs and passing through various places like Madi River, Makai Khola and Kayare, we can reach Bhachok village. Recently, roads have been constructed from Ghumle Bazar to Bhachok and automobiles will be soon in progress. Likewise, electricity will be soon generated.


Bhachok, a Gurung settlement located at 40km away from Pokhara, is rich in natural beauties and biodiversity. It is occupied by almost one hundred and sixty inhabitants. Among them one hundred inhabitants belongs to the Gurung community and the rest to Dalit Community. We can observe the beautiful villages of Lamjung district along with many other villages of Kaski like Nagidhar, Pakhurikot, Gahate along with a clear view of Mananslu Himal in the eastern part of the village. Likewise, many villages like Yanjakot, warchowk and some Gurung villages can be seen in the western part of the village. Whereas, Lamtari hill, Karapu hill and dense forest can be seen in the north and Kayere, Dhodeni, Makai Khola and some villages in the south.

Every year various festivals and rituals are celebrated and are still conserved. Many historical traditions like ‘Putpute’, ‘Krishna Charitra’, ‘Ghatu’, ‘Shorthi’, and ‘Sergha’ are still preserved in this village.


As there is awareness among the villagers, everything is well managed like it has a well equipped health post, schools, kinder garden, Lamtari Yuva Club, Srijanashil Aama Samuha, Nada Aama Samuha, Lamtari Aama Samuha along with an office relating to Annapurna Conservation Sector. Likewise, recently a “Home Stay” has been initiated by Lamtari Yuva Club which is related to look after the basic needs and providing proper facilities to tourists. Dilli Jung Gurung, Chairman of Lamtari Yuva Club is extremely satisfied with this new project as they are getting good response from the visitors.
Similarly, the Lamtari Yuva club had initiated Lhosar Festival for the first time in the year 2065 on the occasion of Gurung’s New Year Lhosar, which was a great success like-wise this year they organized Lhosar Festival 2066. Local Lamtari Youth Club organized the fair in assistance with Nepal Tourism Board for promoting tourism as well as the culture and custom of Gurung Community.

Many youths along with the aged ones are always looking forward for the development of the village. Among the youths there are two girls namely Manisha Gurung and Laxmi Gurung, though after their marriage, they are still contributing towards the development of their village and promoting it. Their aim is to make Bhachok as the tourist destination. When asked if they are getting support from their family, they replied, “We are very lucky enough that we have a supportive family. We are given equal support and inspiration by our life partners’ as well as our in-laws so we want to show our gratitude to them as well as do our best to promote our village and make it as one of the tourist attraction areas.”

Recently, after an inspection by the research head of Tourism Board Mr. Kashi Ram Tiwari along his fellow workers of the Lamtari hill, they have decided to conserve the Lamtari hill and build a View Tower there which would be fruitful for developing a route from Bhachok to DhudhPokhari. The main aim is to promote and preserve the Lamtari hill which is a valuable treasure of the ancient period. Though this place hasn’t yet been conserved and the Annapurna conservation Sector hasn’t taken any action to promote it. Currently, the Lamtari Yuva Club is also making a lot of effort to promote that area. As this hill holds a historical value, it is equipped with a lot of endangered species like ratuwa, deer, beer, cheetah, ghoral, thar and many other animals and birds.

Furthermore, a route can be established from Bhachok to Dhudhpokhari from Lamtari hill so, much emphasis is given to conserve it. It will take about 5 hrs walk to reach Dhudhpokhari from Bhachok and the trekkers can return Pokhara by passing through Tangting, Siklesh or they can take a different route to Besisahar of Lamjung district. So there is much possibility to attract much tourist and utilize the possible resources and term Bhachok as the tourist destination area.
